Where did all the time go? It's almost halfway through August and I can't seem to tell where the days went. September is almost upon us and we now have that bag packed for the just in case scenarios.

Good lord, it's too late to bail out now, I suppose. Though it will be nice to sleep in a normal position again.

...I really need to stop thinking about this, it just makes me nervous.

Private to Daniel Morgan )

I'm not sure how much more kicking I can take. I realize that all three of us are very ready for them to be out but my god, if they keep this up I'm not going to get any sleep.

Love, my maternity leave starts next week. I'm not sure if I really want to stay in the flat and wait for the time to come. I'm pretty sure everything in the nursery is set up...

For some reason my mother decided that today was to be the day to have the baby shower. Of course, asking her why she didn't plan on it to be on the weekend, when people don't have to take off from work, did not seem to come up with a good enough answer.

Then again, there were many of her friends there that they almost overshadowed mine. In any case, the boys like cake it seems, so eating cake seemed to be a good idea for most of the party. I've never seen so many badly wrapped gifts in my life.

But now we have many things that we didn't actually need, or haven't thought of, so Gideon, love, I left them at her house so we could pick them up later. They all wouldn't fit into the car.

Two more months and a few days left. I need to stop remembering all of those horror stories told in grade school.

Gideon, love. We need to talk. Rather importantly, actually. But don't start stressing, it has nothing to do with the twins.

Well...nothing yet.

So while the knight in shining armor whiles away the day by looking for t-shirts online, I have to contend with the twins playing a charming game of cricket in my stomach. Bats and everything, its like they've made it their business to see who can get the best shot to my kidney.

Makes work rather interesting. I intend on maternity leave at some point, but for now I've been teaching my new apprentice the ways of being polite to customers in eight different languages.

In other news, I resemble a small house right now. Ainsley! Betty! Where are you two and what is going on in your lives that must be far more interesting then the sight of my stomach growing.

I can't believe this woman. I'm looking for maternity clothes, and she comes up to meet to ask if I need any help. Well, of course I need help, I don't know how to pick out maternity clothes and the sizes and such.

Half an hour in, she finally gets around to asking me if I know what I'm having. I tell her I'm having twins, and she gets this look on her face like I had offended her in some way. Then she moves me over to the bigger sizes because I am going to look like I swallowed two watermelons.

I buy some clothes, and I hear her muttering to the other saleswoman about how I must be nuts, and how having twins is not that natural now, it must have been done by some scientific means.

Its American TV shows like Jon and Kate Plus Eight, and 19 and Counting, and all of these horrendous shows that makes you look like a criminal for having more than one child at a time.

But then, it was nice to have some things go back to normal.

I have a definitely noticeable bump now. Just a bump, though. I think if I went out, people would just think I'd gained some weight, that's how slight it is! But its definitely getting bigger than it was just a few weeks ago.

It might be time to start looking at maternity clothes. Not buying anything yet, but seeing what's out there. At this rate, the only thing I can wear in the next few weeks are sweat pants and my husband's shirts.

So much is happening, and all I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep the days away. The doctor said fatigue is natural, but now is not exactly the time to be sleeping!

Gideon, I swear, if you whistle that old spice tune one more time, I'm going to come at you with a fencing foil and then blame it on pregnancy hormones.

Incidentally, is there anyone out there willing to maybe go a few rounds with a sword? With everything that's been happening lately, I really need to let off some steam.

Even if you can't fence, I'm willing to teach. Its a good skill to have, just in case.

So, I did go to the doctor last week, and things were fine. However, the doctor well. She seemed to do this pause before saying that the baby was doing fine, and that was, to be frank, very worrisome.

So I scheduled another appointment for today, and I just got back from that. I'm only 8 weeks along and already I'm stressing over the smallest things. Of course, the doctor did say that she had made a mistake this time, a rather large mistake, but my god. She told me to stop stressing, but how am I supposed to do that when my doctor is making mistakes!?

So, Gideon, you know that thing that we were worried about? Well, not worried, but. God, I'm going to be huge.

Love, we're having twins.

A party is as good a time as any to announce this, I think. Also didn't want Ainsley in her drunkenness to spill the beans as it were.

Gideon, darling, if you're able to read this, I have some good news.

You're going to be a father.

This? Is wrong. People have a right to privacy about their love lives, no matter what lifestyle they choose.

Curiouser and curiouser indeed. Now that I've said that, I do need to find my copy of that book again.

But who else out there feels like things are happening, and we're not getting the full answers about certain events? At this point, I'm almost worried to watch the evening news every night.

Everyone I know is doing fine, right? Speak up if you're not. I'd rather hear it from you than from a second or third source.

Sometimes its good to be in customer relations.

What a way to ring in the new year. And here I had high hopes that things would get better this year, not worse. Sometimes wishes don't come true.

But, another attack is upon us. While this one harms no one, it still has the ability to make us act in ways we would normally not; making threats, fighting, experiencing the pain of being frightened, not for yourself, but for those close to you. The pictures, their proximity to all that we love and cherish, is not something to be dealt with lightly, and yet, we cannot form roving bands of vengeance.

These things herald ill for us. We cannot control what they do, but we can control what we do, what our reaction is. Call your loved ones. Go visit them. Take this opportunity to connect with those you care about, but have always wished you had more time to do so. This incident can only make us stronger, can only fuel the fire in our belly, enough to stand up and cry out, "We will not be pushed into a corner."

Be careful. Stay together. Stay safe.

And so its already started. Or really, it started much before this, but its now come to head.

I didn't realize how ill prepared I was until now.

My father called. Apparently he is on the outs with his mistress and is looking for a place to stay while she stays in their flat.

I told him absolutely not, but knowing him, he may just show up on our doorstep.

If there is an accidental death of a family member, what is the policy on that?

I do believe I may have come down with some sort of bug. I do hope its not that blasted H1N1 that everyone is so worried about.

But then, I never was much of a pig eater. Not that that really matters, but the irony of something like that doesn't escape me.

Darling, we might have to cancel on my mother for dinner this weekend. I can't seem to keep anything down.

Gideon, love, going out to see that woman sing was a wonderful idea. We should do that more often. Perhaps make a weekly thing of going out and trying something new? Plenty to do around London, of course, I'm sure we won't be out of things to do for a good, long, while.

Mmm. Work has been strangely hectic. Then again, it seems to start picking up as we come into the fall season. I expect I'll be bringing more work home with me once November hits.

Now I'm off to see if we have anymore ice cream left. I've been craving some all day.

Hello everyone. Its been awhile since I've used this, but seeing how things are progressing, I thought it would be a good idea to meet my fellow reincarnates now.

My name is Alba Trenor-Seward. You can call me Alba, I'm not much of one to stand on formalities. I work for Camelot Enterprises in International Customer Relations, and I really enjoy my job as a translator.

My husband is Gideon Seward, and he is a Graphic Arts designer. We've been married for almost three years now.

My other half, I guess you would say, is Guinevere. She's not going to insist on the title of 'Queen', and I only make my husband call me that when he's taking out the trash. Gwen has been with me for many years now, so we are definitely past the stage of how crazy am I, really.

Its a pleasure to meet everyone.
